1 Secret to Cut Your Blogging Learning Curve by Months or Years

This morning I received an email from a new reader of Blogging From Paradise.

He asked me a few questions.

I responded then hopped into my WordPress backoffice.

For the next 15 minutes I read and responded to the 11 meaty, in-depth, genuine comments he published on my blog.

He likely spent hours reading the 11 thorough posts. Tack on the time he spent commenting genuinely on each post and you have an aspiring blogger who has cut years off of his learning curve, easily.

Why?

He hit the ground running.

No hesitating on his part. No delaying. I never once read about an excuse after reading his email and 11 beefy comments.

I was floored.

Folks who take blogging this seriously are guaranteed to succeed. The masses run into all types of resistance because they:

  • Make excuses
  • Blame people for their failure
  • Surrender to fear, being tossed around on a sea of circumstance
  • Spend years explaining why they do not have enough money to buy a course or eBook or to hire a pro blogger for coaching

Without fail, the folks like my inspired new reader become super successful over the long haul. Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not next month. Maybe not next year. But guaranteed, I am watching a budding superstar in action.

Feels exciting!

The Winners

The few bloggers who win, having fun helping people and becoming high profile, full time, established pro bloggers, are 100% in,

My new reader explained how he had purchased numerous online courses. After buying these gems he dove into the course work and put the advice into action. This was plain to see due to the clarity, confidence and conviction with which he published his comments.

Most new bloggers struggle through a fear-filled haze. This guy had the poise, focus and clarity of an established professional blogger even though he was new to the game.

He will not email me in 3 or 4 years complaining about struggling with blogging. He won’t even email me in 3-4 months. The guy is on the right track and success will find him steadily as he moves into inspired action immediately.

Why?

He Is 100% Committed to Blogging

Some aspiring bloggers tell me they may get around to blogging. Others say they “should” blog, as an afterthought. Other new bloggers dive 100% into blogging with a sense of urgency, patiently but persistently buying products, learning from the products and immediately putting their newfound knowledge into action.

The secret to cutting your blogging learning curve by years is to commit 100% to blogging.

Surround yourself with the blogging big dawgs of the world. Promote them. Read their posts. Study their posts. Comment genuinely on big dawg blogs. Buy their courses. Study their courses. Put their knowledge into action. Hire them to coach you.

Have you ever heard of a successful person in any venture spend 30 minutes weekly on their gig?

Have you spent evenings during your newbie blogging days reading and commenting on a pro blogger’s blog for hours as my new reader did?

This is what it takes to shine so brightly as a newbie that the established pros cannot miss you.

Once the pros know who you are, the sky is the limit because big dawgs open doors for you that you could never find on your own.
