3 Uncomfortable to Embrace Qualities of Successful Bloggers

Successful bloggers master the concept of being comfortable with being uncomfortable.

If you are struggling to boost your blog traffic or profits you likely shy away from uncomfortable activities.

I get it.

I have been there.

I finally accepted the fact that becoming a successful blogger hinged on me making fun, freeing and sometimes highly uncomfortable decisions that would habitually shape who I was as a blogger.

I eventually developed new, improved, higher energy qualities that yielded rocking results for me and my blog.

1: Being Comfortable with their Contradictions

Being comfortable with your contradictions is the core at which you build a hyper successful blogging foundation.

Every well known blogger contradicts their actions sometimes. We are human. We all contradict ourselves.

You won’t contradict your values but your actions will change as you grow, evolve and morph into being a successful blogger.

I advise posting in-depth comments on top blogs but I had to leave an aggressive blog commenting campaign behind when guest posting and doing live broadcasts and promoting my eBooks became more fun and enjoyable to me.

My blogging growth accelerated exponentially when I became at peace with contradicting myself.

This is the case for any blogger who is growing, evolving and moving into different, advanced blogging strategies as they expand their skill set.

2: Habit of Sprinting Outside of their Comfort Zone

Successful bloggers sprint out of their comfort zones regularly.

I recall having lunch with Zac Johnson a while back. He noted how at the time he was writing and submitting 2 guest posts daily to top blogs.

14 guesties placed on influential blogs weekly is nothing to sneeze at. Super uncomfortable task at times.

The top bloggers habitually sprint outside of their comfort zones into their fears. If you want to become a rocking blogger yourself, develop this uncomfortable but fun and freeing habit that makes you and your blog grow like a weed.

I am currently writing and submitting 4-6 posts daily.

How it goes:

  • I write one travel page on Blogging From Paradise daily
  • I do a Facebook Live broadcast and publish the video as a Huffington Post guest post daily
  • I write and publish one guest post on Blogging Tips daily
  • I write and publish 1 post on Medium daily
  • I write and submit 1-2 guest posts to various blogs daily

I love writing. I have fun writing. Labor of love.

But keeping to this writing and publishing schedule gets highly uncomfortable at times.

Such is the life of an established pro blogger.

Beats sitting at a job I do not like, I tell ya that.

3: Blogging with Love Not Judgment

This morning I noted how when I checked my Paypal that a client payment had not arrived.

No big deal.

But I did some digging because the client assured me they had paid me.

On further review, the client sent payment to the wrong email address. Nothing to worry about of course because I do things from love, not fear or judgment.

To new or struggling, or even successful but unhappy bloggers, a snap judgment would have ensued, with said blogger blaming the client.

I don’t do that.

I own the situation.

Turns out, I could have handled the email differently.

I own the circumstance and we will proceed forward to find a solution for both parties.

The customer is not always right. Nor do you need to be a punching bag for complaining clients. But you do need to treat people with love and respect if you want to become a hyper successful blogger.

I filmed a short video from a posh pad in New York City fleshing out this concept.

Your Turn

Are you embodying these qualities?

Does it feel uncomfortable to be like a successful blogger?
