Announced all the way back in July, the ROG Phone 2 has been making its way to users across the globe, and luckily for us, ASUS was kind enough to send one our way. Before I start gaming until my eyeballs bleed, though, we have to unbox this puppy.
To overview the major specs, the ROG Phone 2 features a 6.6″ FHD+ AMOLED display capable of a refresh rate of 120Hz, Snapdragon 855+ processor, 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage, in-display fingerprint reader, dual stereo speakers, massive 6,000mAh battery, dual rear-facing cameras, AirTrigger touch sensors on the side of the device for playing games, and Android 9 Pie with ASUS’ ROG UI running on top.
This device is priced at $899, but keep in mind, it does have every spec under the sun, with exception to an IP rating. That means don’t take it near water. Now, I’m off to play mobile games!
