BellaBreeze Cooling Table Fails to Get A Deal with Tilman Fertitta

This week, Tilman Fertitta meets with Bill Molnar and Roy Prosise of BellaBreeze.

BellaBreeze offers a fresh solution for outdoor furniture that is sure to “blow you away.” The outdoor cooling (and heated) table features “a custom air-conditioning unit designed to deliver the cooling comfort represented,” according to their website. The table is currently available for preorder for both residential customers and commercial restaurants.

Fertitta is concerned that they’ve been working on the table for 10 years, but he likes its potential. He calls the table “impressive” but says he can’t really feel much of the cool air. Despite the duo’s challenges, he likes the product. They promise him that it will be fully functioning at their next meeting. He challenges them to test the table at one of his restaurants and see how his customers like it.

Next, the duo tests their latest production model at the Grotto restaurant. Many of the customers share that they wish it was cooler, while others feel as though the air is a bit “unnecessary.” They tell Fertitta that they’ve gotten random blasts of heat and he says that he doesn’t even feel cold air. “I’m hotter sitting here,” Fertitta admits. “If somebody sat here, they would die.” Inside, Fertitta challenges them to perfect the product, which the duo assures him they will. He states, however, that he can’t buy any until they’re flawless and they ultimately walk away without a deal.

According to CNBC, the reality television show “introduces promising companies across the country to one of America’s most successful businessmen: billionaire hospitality mogul Tilman Fertitta, Chairman, CEO, and sole shareholder of Landry’s, Inc.” Featured entrepreneurs present their small business to Fertitta in the hopes that he will place a large purchase order. But before they make their pitch, they must prove to the hospitality mogul that their product is worth it through challenges and customer feedback.
