Democrat Senator Caught Trying To Sneak ‘Molded Plastic Firearm’ Into The Oval Office Is Fake News

A Democrat Delaware Senator caught attempting to sneak a “molded plastic firearm” into the Oval Office is fake news. There is no truth to a report that Democrat Delaware Senator Mel Shearer tried to smuggle a weapon into the West Wing in order to kill President Donald Trump.

Where did this fake news originate? Freedum Junkshun published the fake news article reporting that the senator was trying to murder Trump at a time when gun laws are in debate since the Las Vegas mass shooting left many dead and injured. You can read the fake news below.

In a shocking mid-afternoon showdown between a beloved Democrat Senator from Delaware and the Secret Service, Mel Shearer was shot and killed with double-tap precision just outside the Oval Office. Shearer, who has sat on the Senate Intelligence Committee for more than 20 years, apparently tried to smuggle a weapon into the West Wing to kill President Trump.

“The weapon was detected by advanced scasnning technology and the threat neutralized.”
White House Director of Information and Propaganda, Art Tubolls, suggested that taking the Senator alive was no longer an option when his intentions became clear. Shortly thereafter, the plug was pulled and any and all comment or news about the incident has been withheld for national security purposes.

This is where we, as a nation, have to trust in our president. If he says he needs the discretion his office sometimes demands and asks the news not to shove a story down our throats with big flashy headlines, the news should do as they’re told. Hopefully, something can be learned from the intelligence gathered from this horrible incident.

As for Senator Shearer, his office has released a statement claiming he suffered from late-stage dementia and that he had left a note behind saying he was going to make the world a “better place” for his grandchildren, whatever that means. Maybe they need some free peanut butter and a cell phone.

However, there is no truth to the above story. For instance, there is no Democrat Senator “Mel Shearer” of Delaware. You can see the list of senators here. Additionally, the image used in the story actually comes from a story about a fire in a London housing high-rise that claimed at least 30 lives.

Here are some examples of people sharing the fake news on social media.

Freedum Junkshun carries the following disclaimer at the bottom of the page:

We believe that there is nothing more precious than the mind of an aging conservative. Here we gather a boatload of bullhonkey, works of pure satirical fiction, to give the fist-shakers of the world a reason to hate. Reality is often in the eye of the beholder. You won’t find any of it here.
