Woot! offers free shipping to Amazon Prime members. Acquired by Amazon in 2010, Woot! is now offering free shipping on purchases from its site to all Amazon Prime members. Woot! was founded in 2003. It gained popularity for its “one deal per day” concept. After its acquisition by Amazon, Woot! distanced itself from the deal-per-day format. The site now features deals across categories such electronics and home and sporting goods.

Visa brings CyberSource Token Management Service to clients globally. Visa has introduced Token Management Service to unify management and secure customer payment data. Token Management Service enables an integrated view of payment preferences and behaviors across a merchant’s commerce platforms, processing environments, geographies, payment types, and card brands. Consumers can buy goods online and then pick them up in-store, or make a purchase online and return items in-store. Merchants can augment their customer engagement strategy with tailored loyalty programs and promotions to suit customer preferences and behavior, ultimately providing impactful customer experiences.

Walmart.com launches new specialty home shopping experience. Walmart.com has launched a new digital shopping experience aligned with how consumers shop for home products. It features a home destination page that includes (a) curated collections guided by design trends and in-house stylists, (b) nine shop-by-style options, and (c) editorial-style imagery and design tips that will enable shoppers to discover different styles. The new offering will roll out over the coming weeks and will offer the first glimpse of a broader Walmart.com redesign, which will launch later this year.

Google Pay replaces Android Pay and Google Wallet. Google has launched Google Pay app for Android, to replace Android Pay and Google Wallet. With Google Pay, shoppers can check out without having to enter their payment information. Pay friends with Google Pay via an email address or phone number. Google Pay doesn’t share an actual card number. Thus your information stays secure.

Magento Commerce gives merchants direct access to Amazon marketplace. Magento Commerce, the cloud platform, has announced the addition of sales channel capabilities to help merchants manage inventory on Amazon directly from Magento Commerce. Merchants will benefit from powerful listing tools that direct product distribution and visibility, provide detailed competitor reporting, and generate pricing recommendations, all designed to increase sales. The new capability will be available later this year for all merchants on Magento 2.

DialogTech launches artificial intelligence call scoring for marketing and sales. Alexa Accelerator program now accepting applications. Amazon is now accepting applications for its second Alexa Accelerator 13-week program, which launched last year. The Alexa Accelerator, powered by Techstars, is looking for startups in voice-powered technologies. In partnership with Amazon’s Alexa Fund, the program will focus on connected home, entertainment, speech science, enterprise, on the go, and family-focused technology, as well as enabling technologies and developer tools. Teams will also have access to Alexa Skills Kit, Alexa Voice Services, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon Launchpad.

Insite Software delivers greater configurability, enhanced B2B user interface. Insite Software, a B2B commerce platform, has announced new capabilities with the launch of Release 4.4. Unique list management features (a) facilitate collaboration between users, (b) provide list-to-order approval as well as create private lists for ease of re-order, and (c) enable marketing and sales to create and share new product information. Restriction Group Wizard lets users set catalog restrictions to customize buying experiences by customer, site, or brand. The release also has enhanced features for guest user accounts to manage pricing per website and allow manufacturers and distributors to target multiple industries and new prospects by setting unique guest pricing levels. Microsoft’s Mixer lets viewers buy games straight from live streams. Gaming streamers often recommend games to their audiences. Through Mixer Direct Purchase, Microsoft is rewarding them for purchases made based on their recommendation and gameplay. When streamers activate Direct Purchase, their viewers will be able to buy the game they’re streaming right from their channel page. The entire purchase happens within Mixer, without having to leave the stream to complete the transaction. Once purchased, the digital content is automatically added to the buyer’s Xbox or Windows 10 game library where he can then download at his convenience. No separate codes or tokens required. At launch, streamers will earn 5 percent for every purchase that happens on their channel.
