MailChimp launches Google remarketing ads product. MailChimp is launching a Google remarketing ads product, which allows small-to-midsize businesses to create Google retargeting ads from MailChimp. Users can start a Google remarketing ad campaign from their MailChimp dashboard. They can then connect their site to MailChimp and it automatically generates thousands of ad sizes and placements, pre-populated products. There’s no extra cost — pay the same as directly through Google.

Target incorporates Pinterest Lens visual search. Target has announced that it will begin incorporating Pinterest Lens visual search technology into its websites and applications. With Lens, users can snap a picture of an item and get a curated set of products that resemble or complement the pic. First, Target will incorporate Lens into its registry experience. Then Lens will be incorporated into the app.

Boston startup launches artificial intelligence platform that predicts website conversion. WEVO, an artificial intelligence and crowdsourcing technology startup, is launching a new platform for digital marketers to test and improve website conversion before going live. The platform predicts conversion testing outcomes, provides audience insight, and helps marketers build a more effective website. WEVO makes this possible prior to developing the site pages or launching A/B tests. Marketers simply upload images of the page designs they’d like to test and select their target audience. Adobe Spark now has premium features. Adobe Spark has unveiled features for its multimedia storytelling tool. With the new features, create and share branded stories in all three Spark formats: Post (for graphics), Page (for web pages), and Video (for video stories). The basic Spark will remain free. Spark with premium features is included with all Creative Cloud plans, or available for purchase as a new standalone plan on the Spark website or in the Spark iOS apps.

Bridge2 Solutions launches Points Pal, a voice-activated rewards platform. Bridge2 announces Points Pal, a voice-activated experience for rewards programs that’s compatible with multiple virtual assistants. Members from thousands of loyalty and employee incentive programs can give commands to Alexa, Siri, Google Home, Cortana and many other voice recognition platforms simply by saying “Open Points Pal.” Points Pal connects members to their rewards accounts and allows them to choose from millions of items to purchase with their rewards currency.

Google launches Tez, a mobile payments app. Google is launching Tez, a payments and commerce app built for India first on top of the country’s Unified Payments Interface standard. Pay nearby without sharing your private details like bank account or phone number. Tez for Business is a program for large and small enterprises to connect with consumers inside the Tez app to make payments, share redeemable offers, products, and updates.

BigCommerce launches new catalog transfer app. BigCommerce, an ecommerce platform for established and fast-growth brands, has announced new tools to assist online retailers with the task of migrating data between ecommerce platforms. The suite of free catalog transfer apps allows merchants currently selling on alternative ecommerce platforms to easily import critical product catalog assets and customer data to BigCommerce, reducing the cost and time associated with migrating.

EBANX releases new gateway for Magento. EBANX, the Latin American payment service, has launched a payment gateway for Magento, to accept the most popular local payment methods in Latin America and receive money anywhere in the world. The gateway comes with high converting features to empower sales, such as a simple integration and more than 50 local payment methods for Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. Sofia Vergara and Renata Black have launched EBY, a subscription women’s underwear site that lets users receive up to three pairs of underwear every three months. Customers choose between thongs, cheekies, and briefs, or a mix. They also choose between neutrals, colors, and patterns, or a combination of the two.

Adobe introduces Analytics for retailers. Adobe Analytics Cloud has launched workspaces designed for retail brands. Building on Analysis Workspace, the data discovery and analysis tool within Adobe Analytics, retail brands can discover meaningful insights with pre-built templates. Powered by Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s artificial intelligence and machine learning framework, these new templates are built with anomaly detection and contribution analysis to get real-time access to conversion rates, merchandising, product performance, and product finding methods, among other insights.
