How To Learn (A Little) Every Day

Knowledge building is one of the most vital things you can do to increase your chances of creating a successful business, living a full life and enjoying what you do. It’s a massive priority for me, and I try to spend 30-40% of my time on it. Here’s some ideas to get you started…

  • Sign up for a free course on Udemy

I try and do one of these every single week. It doesn’t have to be a long course. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated. One week, I just did a course on wine tasting! But what it does do, is make you remember how to study, learn and complete activities. Keep yourself in school for as long as you can!

  • Keep a list of one thing you learned every single day for a month

This has been a part of my daily practice for as long as I can remember, and it’s hugely effective for me. I just have to list one single thing that I learned in each 24 hour period. Doesn’t sound like it would have a massive impact, I know – but you’d be surprised!

  • Go to your local library and pick out one random book to read each week

Libraries are still vitally important. Because they’re still the bastion of book-knowledge, no matter what Amazon want you to believe. Take advantage of your local library and read your way through every and any book that interests you!

  • Read your local newspaper when it gets delivered

Yes, local news isn’t earth shattering. But it can show you and teach you something – anything – about the small world that you inhabit, that directly effects your life and how you live it. Learning more about that is powerful.

Whatever you do, make sure that learning becomes an active part of your life and your day. If you do, you could transform your mind and power yourself up to a massive degree!
