Idea Garden Marketing graduates largest Fresh Marketing Academy class to date

MEMPHIS, TN — Idea Garden Marketing has announced that it graduated 42 industry professionals from the 2017 fall semester of Fresh Marketing Academy.

Fresh Marketing Academy is an online webinar series designed to increase consumer engagement, and ultimately sales, through the use of key digital marketing channels. Course topics include social media, website design, online advertising, search engine optimization and email marketing. Each course provides hands-on training, industry related examples and education to help attendees build and grow their knowledge in each area.

“The webinar series provided information that was directly relevant and actionable within our organization, with very minimal resources necessary to implement,” one of the course attendees, Jenavive Holmes of Okanagan Specialty Fruits, said in an Oct. 10 press release from Idea Garden marketing. “For the value, relevance and volume of immediately actionable information shared with unlimited team members for one low all-inclusive cost, this is a no-brainer — well worth the investment.”

Fresh Marketing Academy was started by Idea Garden Marketing in 2015 to provide digital marketing education for produce professionals trying to connect with consumers through digital channels. Whether students are beginners or more advanced in digital marketing, there is something to learn for everyone.

“One of our priorities is to be a resource to the produce industry, whether it’s during the first step of developing new digital marketing efforts, or existing efforts that need a boost to reach the next level,” John Avola, president and chief executive officer of Idea Garden Marketing, said in the release. “We’re honored to play a part in helping educate the largest graduating class of Fresh Marketing Academy and look forward to another successful class next year.”

Avola is well known as a marketing expert in the produce industry and has an extensive digital marketing background, which includes the strategic development and execution of high-performing social media, traditional and digital marketing campaigns; new brand development and launches; and website design and development.
