On American Idol, Jurnee is the first of the night performing a Prince classic from his catalogue. Jurnee sung Prince’s “Kiss” and delivered a fun, fantastic cover of the song.
Lionel Ritchie said that he was having a flashback as he was watching Jurnee but noted Sheila E who worked with Prince. Lionel said congrats on the performance. Katy Perry called Jurnee a “snack.” Katy appreciated that Jurnee was moving around as Prince would be dancing around. Katy wanted to see more teeth for the next performance. Luke Perry said great song choice. Luke said he had a great time watching her.

She’s not doing it for me tonight. Up beat songs are not strong for her, which sucks because she’s talented.
