Microsoft has announced that they have begun rolling out Dark Mode for its iOS Outlook app in time for the release of iOS 13. Dark Mode option will be available to Office apps before iOS 13 goes live next month.
Jon Friedman outlined the thought process for their Dark Mode, especially its ability to reduce eye strain at night. The company admits that working on Dark Mode wasn’t a quick process. Friedman admitted that Microsoft had to work from the ground up to ensure the teams were on the same page.

Dark Mode should also be an option for Powerpoint, Excel, and Word on iOS when iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 is officially launched. In the near future, Dark Mode should also appear on iOS’ To-Do, Planner, OneDrive and SharePoint.
Light and Dark Mode should be aligned with the theme you choose on your device. Microsoft’s new feature is expected to roll out today.
