Samsung Re-Launches Galaxy Fold – Sales Start On September 6

After quite a long wait, Samsung has finally divulged information regarding the controversial Galaxy Fold relaunch. Looks like the phone will be launching on September 6th in South Korea followed by the US on September 26th. Early buyers will be eligible to grab a snazzy Mont Blanc luxury case for their new Fold!

Samsung will finally be re-launching the Galaxy Fold.

According to Samsung, the re-launched Galaxy Fold will have a reinforced hinge mechanism along with better sealing to prevent dust from entering the display compartment. The mandatory protective film on the foldable display has now been extended beyond the limits of the bezel to prevent accidental or “impulsive” peeling. Samsung promises that a host of changes have been applied on the Fold making it completely market ready.

The hinge mechanism has been reinforced to a great degree.

In what comes as quite a surprise, Sammy also announced that they’ll be launching a “Premier Assistance Service” for Fold customers that’s included in the price tag. This will allow for customers to converse with experienced technicians regarding any queries they have with their product at any time of the day. Though details are still quite hazy on the same, we believe that anything Samsung does to improve after-sales service for their phones is a hail Mary.

As and when we get new information on the Galaxy Fold you can count on us updating you right here on Techquila.
