Senior SEO Specialist job, Cape Town, Tygervalley, Bellville

WebPartner, a leading website design company, has an exciting opportunity for a talented mid-level SEO specialist to join our dynamic team. We are passionate about modern, simple and optimized web design, and we’re looking for an experienced SEO guru to manage and optimize our client’s websites with best-practice SEO requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients. This will include on and off-site search engine optimization plans, analysis, implementation and reporting to maximise our client’s organic search results, expand online digital audience and ultimately help to grow online revenue.

Deliverables for this role:

• Creating and executing link building strategies for Web Partner and our clients.
• Using paid search insights to steer SEO strategies
• Maintaining a steady list of technical/engineering improvements driving improvements.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions and target keywords.
• Monitor and react to current SEO performance against targets
• Site/Page Speed recommendations and optimizations.
• Advise on UX and site changes relevant to SEO
• Ensure a QA process is maintained for any requests push to live.
• Strategize SEO implementations and optimizations for client
• Continually staying up to date with trends and relevant changes to SEO best practices.
• Monthly reporting and analysis to client SEO strategies.
• Keyword research and optimisation of meta-data and SEO copywriting to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities.
• SERP-rank monitoring and continuous improvements to maintain 1st page visibility.
• Liaise with the sales and marketing teas on content produced for digital channels.

Minimum requirements:

• Three to five years of experience in a similar SEO role.
• Experience working with SEO tools
• Experience in HTML, CSS and JS
• Experience in performing SEO audits and developing SEO strategies for new website clients.
• High proficiency in Google Search Console and Webmaster Tools.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Anal
• Proven record of successful link building strategies
• Advanced understanding of Google algorithms and ranking factors
• Certifications in SEO will be advantageous.
• Experience with Google Ads and Google Tag Manager will be advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R15,000.00 to R20,000/month
