NEW YORK, NY – Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will feature the original work of Seo in A Rich Spring Profusion. The exhibition opens April 18 and runs through May 8, 2019 with an opening reception on Thursday, April 18 from 6-8 pm. Any art lover who enjoys thought-provoking artworks and meeting talented and interesting artists is encouraged to attend.
About the Artist
Working with watercolors, oils, pastels, and acrylics, works by Seo incorporate a number of styles and visual approaches. Ranging from Cubism, to Impression, to wall murals, a singular vision is nevertheless made visible—one that speaks to the existential realities of the creative individual confronting the difficulties often associated with urban existence.
The watercolor work, Artist’s Room shows us the modest lifestyle of the urban artist. The desk table, the chair, the brushes in the cup are all rendered with an economic application of paint, which suggests an attitude mimetic of the rushing excitement of city life.
