Actress Kim Seo Hyung, who rose to new heights of fame after her role in JTBC’s “SKY Castle,” has received a casting offer for her next drama.
On May 9, an industry source reported, “Kim Seo Hyung will return to the small screen with the SBS drama ‘Nobody Knows’ [literal translation]. It is scheduled to air sometime in the second half of this year. She will be playing the main lead by herself and lead the whole team.”
According to the source, Kim Seo Hyung will be playing the role of Cha Young Jin, the team leader of the Violent Crime Section in the Metropolitan/Provincial Special Detective Division.
Later the same day, a source from Kim Seo Hyung’s agency stated to HeraldPOP, “She is currently positively reviewing her offer for ‘Nobody Knows.’”
The actress recently also signed on for a film project, the reboot of a popular horror series.
In “SKY Castle,” Kim Seo Hyung played the role of Kim Joo Young, an “academic coordinator” that works with elite families to get their children into prestigious universities. Many of her lines and scenes went viral as a result of her chilling performance.
