Seo Taiji to turn back time with ‘The Great 2008 Seo Taiji Symphony’ at his 25th-anniversary concert

Seo Taiji will be holding a ‘Seo Taiji Symphony‘ for his upcoming 25th-anniversary special concert!

On September 2, Seo Taiji will be holding a concert to commemorate his 25th-anniversary ‘Lotte Card Move: Soundtrack vol.2 Seo Taiji 25‘ where he will bring back ‘The Great 2008 Seo Taiji Symphony‘.

According to the veteran singer, “Seo Taiji’s band and a thirty person orchestra will perform Seo Taiji’s hit songs, you’ll be able to re-live this iconic and historical performance one more time.”

Seo Taiji’s Symphony‘ was introduced back on September 27, 2008, where Seo Taiji held an astounding performance with a royal philharmonic orchestra. World renown musical conductor Tolga Kashif, who composed ‘The Queen Symphony‘ aided Seo Taiji in bringing together rock and classical music to create a more special stage. ‘Seo Taiji Symphony‘ was a turning point in musical history for a domestic musician attempted to take on the challenge of combining rock music and orchestra as well as inviting international bands such as Deep Purple and Metallica. In 2008, ‘Seo Taiji’s Symphony‘ sold out the Sangam World Cup Stadium bringing in a massive audience of 40,000 spectators.

Seo Taiji is not only planning on a great setlist but will deliver six orchestral versions of his songs. The singer himself stated, “I am anticipating that this musical performance will beat out the shock and amusement that people experienced from the symphony nine years ago.”

Seo Taiji’s 25th-anniversary concert will take place on September 2 at 6 PM KST. Check out the full symphony from 2008 in the video above!
