Park Seo Joon and Ju Bo Young are becoming judges!

It was announced that Park Seo Joon and Ju Bo Young have been selected as special judges for the 17th Asiana International Short Film Festival.

The special judges help select who will win the Face of Short Films Award, and the position is given to an actor who has been recognized for their acting talents and the previous year’s winner of the award. The Face of Short Films Award is given to the actor who has shown the best acting of all the films that are nominated in the film festival, and actors such as Jung In Ki, Kim Tae Hoon, Lee Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Young have won the award.

Park Seo Joon recently made his mark with the action-packed film “The Divine Fury,” where he worked with Ahn Sung Ki. He has also captivated the hearts of viewers with his sweet romance stories in dramas like “She Was Pretty,” “Fight My Way,” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” and he has also left quite the impression in the popular variety show “Youn’s Kitchen 2.” He is currently preparing to film his next drama “Itaewon Class” (tentative title).

Ju Bo Young won last year’s Face of Short Films Award and will be joining Park Seo Joon on the judging panel. She won last year for her role in “Soh,” and she was described by judges Jin Seon Kyu and Yoon Hye Ri as, “Leaving a deep impression by showcasing various sides of her character in the film’s short running time.”

Park Seo Joon and Ju Bo Young will attend the film festival’s official press conference on September 25 to open up about their duties as special judges. The 17th Asiana International Short Film Festival will take place from October 31 to November 5.
