On American Idol, Dennis Lorenzo gave a reggae style performance of “Rude” by MAGIC! for his Top 24 solo performance in front of a live audience.
Katy Perry loved seeing his connection and Dennis singing to his family. Katy loved him taking on the reggae vibe. Katy called this performance a stylistic one. Lionel Ritchie said to throw away the mic stand. As for song selection, Lionel said he could have picked something that would have been better.
Luke Bryan loved Dennis’s stage presence and how he shows he belongs there. Luke called him a natural star and that he can do no wrong for him.
