Last week, I launched COVID Good News, a news aggregator with a simple mission. We share good news stories focusing on the people who are helping the world through the pandemic and the science that points a way forward.
I described the process of launching the site quickly in an earlier post.
I believe the site is one that many people would value during these difficult times and I am trying to figure out how to best promote it. To date, I’ve tried the following methods:
Shared it on my personal Facebook page and asked some friends to re-share the post
Shared to Product Hunt
Shared it to various COVID-19 Facebook groups
Emailed 70 journalists with a simple email introducing the site
Posted it to the r/coronavirus subreddit

Burst of traffic to site that eventually died off
I’m open to pretty much any idea at this point and would love to discuss the following:
Partnerships
Ad campaigns
Proper pitches to journalists to cover the site in a new story
An IG account similar to Tanks Good News
