Vietnam must be at very best against Iran: Park Hang-Seo

Tasnim – ABU DHABI, Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo says they must be at their very best when they play against Iran.

Vietnam lost to Iraq 3-2 in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Group D and will now look to put its campaign back on track when it faces the Iran on Saturday, although Park is expecting another tough test for the team who was recently crowned AFF Cup champion.

“We planned to at least get one point from this game with Iraq, because our next game is against Iran who is one of the favorites in this competition,” he said.

“We must now review our performance and prepare well. Iran is a very strong side and we know that we must be at our very best when we play the team,” the Vietnam coach said.

“Hopefully we’ll try to play better against Iran in the next game even though they are a much stronger opponent,” Park hoped.
