?Smartling?, the premier software and translation services company that established the Enterprise Translation Cloud category, today announces the opening of its new office in Dublin, which will play a central role in the company’s EMEA expansion plans. This reinforces the US-based translation and localisation leader’s commitment to its EMEA-based customers, providing its technology and services around the world.
“As a global technology provider, we must have a global presence. With boots on the ground in Dublin, a global business and talent hub, we’re able to deliver a more tailored customer experience, with a deeper understanding of our EMEA customers’ localisation needs,” said Jack Welde, founder and CEO of Smartling. “Attending the opening of our new Dublin office this week is certainly a time for celebration, and I’m looking forward to connecting with our customers in person to learn how Smartling can better serve their needs.”
Smartling first opened its doors in Dublin in 2016 and has since grown its team to 18 members. Its new office, nearly double the size of its previous space in Dublin, is located at the intersection of Exchequer Street and Dame Court. Current EMEA-based customers benefiting from Smartling’s presence in Europe include Bang & Olufsen, BMJ, Intercom, Monday.com and Vivino to mention a few. And in 2018, Smartling appointed Brian O’Reilly, a native to Ireland, as VP of Global Sales.
“As one of the first members of the Dublin office in 2016, it’s been amazing to watch our team grow,” said Director of Professional Services in EMEA, Conall O’Raghallaigh. “In just three years, we’ve established our office as an integral part of Smartling’s global presence, working with customers across the region. This brings an advantage to our EMEA customers because of our understanding of the local culture and business, and a meaningful service to users based in the region.”
To commemorate the opening of Smartling’s new office in Dublin, the company will be hosting one of its ?Global Ready Bootcamp ?events at The Alex Dublin on 24 October.
This news follows the announcement of Smartling’s first printed publication, ?Move the World With Words?, and the company’s Global Ready Translation Summit in London. To learn more about Smartling’s solution at ?Smartling.com.
