5 Ways To Repurpose Your Blog Content

Repurposing your blog content is an amazing way to generate more buzz and more traffic to your website.

When it comes to trying to get your message out to your audience, there is no better way than blogging. Having a blog on your business website can increase the amount of authority you have in your industry, while at the same time helping you capture longer tail keywords and generating more traffic from organic search.

What if I told you that you can not only massively increase the number of people that see your content, but also be in more places than you ever thought possible?

1. Create a powerpoint presentation and put it on Slideshare

Slideshare is an important and popular website on the internet, and it’s no wonder, as parent LinkedIn owns it.

The first thing you can do after publishing an article on your blog is to take the main header points of the content and turn that into a flowing powerpoint presentation. Slideshare allows anyone to upload their presentations to their website, which alone garners searchers looking for great content.

Once you create an account, simply upload your presentation to the site. To take things even further, copy the embed code of the presentation and insert it at the bottom of the blog post to get the visitors on your article to click through to the slide deck. You can even give them the embed code so they can freely embed it on their websites, too. This can start to send you more eyeballs from many different sites you may have never been able to get access to before.

2. Create a short teaser video

Who doesn’t love YouTube? The second biggest search engine in the world is the go-to place for content consumption and educational information for searchers.Even better is the fact that people love to consume video content, as it’s easier to understand a concept by video.

So with this powerhouse in your arsenal, take the biggest and most important points of your post, and create an engaging short teaser video which will draw people in to want to know more.

And as a bonus tip, you can then take this video and add it to your Facebook page. Facebook video is extremely popular and a great way to reach even more people.

3. Create a downloadable PDF on Scribd

Scribd is one of those sites that goes so well with Slideshare. Scribd offers you the ability to take an ebook, or pdf and upload it to their site for the world to see.

The great thing about creating a shareable, downloadable PDF out of your original blog piece, is the fact that it is still in text format. And this is great for search engines, as they can read and scan your content on Scribd.

When you create your PDF, make sure you put your logo and website information at the bottom so people can find you.

4. Post it on Instagram

Instagram has grown to such incredible proportions. People love their pictures, and Instagram offers an easy and memorable way to share them.

Here you can show your knowledge by pulling an actionable part of your post to repurpose. So with this method, you can take one of the best lines from your blog post, create an image using a tool such as Canva and upload that educational quote to Instagram as a picture.

Ensure that you have relevant hashtags added to your post, and also include the text in your description as well.

5. Create an infographic on Pinterest

Infographics are one of the most shared forms of content on the internet. They are an incredible way to take boring data and display it in a fun and informative way.

Because of this, it’s the perfect opportunity to get in front of even more people and have your blog content repurposed into an infographic.

With Pinterest, your uploaded piece can then be shared across hundreds of individuals in the active community. This gives you more ways to get in front of a thriving audience that will then know about your brand and visit your website.

Creating a single piece of content is certainly a great starting point to display your thought leadership and educate your audience.

If you really want to take your business to the next level, then you have to start repurposing your content. It allows you to give people a way to consume your content in a way they want, and in places, they hang out online.

With this in mind, you always have to think about how you can take that single piece of content and scale it across the many different mediums online.
